Induction

The Si-Jet GM2 venturi pump allows for ease of media induction. The media is placed into the pumps hopper which deposits the media into the main flow of water at the pumps base allowing the media to be transported via induction hoses and into the designated filter/asset. Placing media on a water supply allows the media to be protected upon entry into the filter/asset eliminating any damage to the properties of the media itself.

Removal

The pump has an easy fit vacuum attachment and can be placed on compressed air to create suction. Once on compressed air the pump maintains the venturi effect and the media can be vacuumed out of the filter. The media when vacuumed will lead up to the vacuum tank which is mounted on to a small trailer, this for ease of movement around site as well as a small footprint. Once the tank is full it will deposit the media into the required area i.e. tote bags for storage/re-use, skips for disposal, or stockpiled directly on site in a designated area.
